Facebook seems to be positively rife with that sort of behaviour. Boot em if they are rude I say!
You're absolutely right - a lot of people misuse social networking platforms, such as facebook, all the while thinking that they are benefiting their brands.
The funny thing is, that these people wouldn't go to actual events and scream their messages out to people unless they know them - but they are ok about doing the exact same thing online.
